Have you ever dreamed of traveling the world?

Some of my earliest memories revolve around a longing to explore. However, for the first 25 years of my life, various obstacles held me back: family expectations, financial constraints, peer judgment, and self-doubt. I didn’t think I could step outside my comfort zone.

What I’ve learned through travel is that you’re never truly prepared; you just have to the leap. Travel transforms you along the way and my journeys have shaped who I am today. Experiencing the world teaches us invaluable lessons about ourselves and one another.

Travel can be a powerful propeller for growth. This is why I launched this blog in 2024, as a personal endeavor to share my travel tips and experiences with those who, like me, once felt lost and doubted their ability to take that first step.

My hope is that you use this blog and the tools contained within to take your first journey, big or small.

Travel Cred

When I first started traveling, I spent a lot of time researching online. Whenever I came across posts that piqued my interest, I often felt a twinge of doubt: "How can I be sure this person truly believes what they're saying or actually been there?" The reality is, it is difficult to verify.

My aim is to be open and honest with all of you. Below, you'll find my "travel resume," detailing where I've been (or plan to go), how long I stayed, and whether it was for work or leisure. Everything I share on my blog is a personal experience that I believe others will also appreciate.

In today's digital world, many people post for clicks and personal gain, but that's not my intention. My goal is to inspire you to travel, whether to one of these destinations or to a place you've always dreamed of visiting.

Destinations

September 2018

Morocco

Leuisure Travel

My first international destination was Morocco. A friend and I went on a 9 day Northern Moroccon tour with Intrepid, with two additional days in the country. These 11 days were magical. My experiences include these destinations: Casablanca, Tangier, Chefchaouen, Moulay Idriss, Volubilis, Meknes, Fes, and Marrakech.

September 2019

Amsterdam, Ireland, Barcelona

Leisure Travel

My second international trip ever was nearly a two week stint of Europe to see some of it's most well known cities. We spent 2 days in Amsterdam, 6 days driving across Ireland, and our final 4 days walking around Barcelona.

May 2022

London

Leisure Travel

A friend and I went to London on a whim to see an art show. While the city is full of art, we also were able to explore many Harry Potter Movies sites. Two stops we made on this journey that are English staples are Bath and Stonehenge.

July 2022

Atlantis at Paradise Island

Leisure Travel

Likely one of my favorite trips of all time, I spent 5 days at Atlantis in the Bahamas for $1,400. Yes, flight and food together with everything else. There are few things more magical than the Bahamas. If you desire to go to Atlantis, find out why July is the best time of year (for price).

Lisbon

Leisure Travel

This was my first trip solo. I spent 4 days in Lisbon over my 29th birthday. A very special trip in my heart, this solo adventure taught me many things about myself. The city of Lisbon is both charming and beautiful, I will never forget it. This trip included Sintra and Evora.

March 2023

The Netherlands, Belgium

Leisure Travel

In March 2023 I used Amsterdam as a base to check out some of the surrounding countryside and take two day trips to Belgium: Brussels and Bruges. Amsterdam makes a great European base and has easily accessible transit to get around on an extreme budget.

April 2023

Malta

Work Travel

Being such a difficult destination to travel to for Americans, I spent 9 total days in the country of Malta. Four days for work and five days to explore the island. Personally on an island this small, I say 9 days is far to long.

September 2023

Dominican Republic

Leisure Travel

We opted to spend a 2 hour cab trip from the capital to Las Terrenas to avoid the very well known crowds in Punta Cana. The all inclusive resort that we stayed in was one of the best places I have ever lodged. As my only all inclusive stay ever, this one is hard to beat.

September 2023

Cuba

Leisure Travel

Cuba is a country you don't find on many bucket lists. Contrary to popular belief, Americans can travel to Cuba and it is very safe. With such rich culture and warm climate Cuba is not a destination to be overlooked.

June and July 2024

London

Work Travel

London kept calling this summer with a total of three work trips to the area, totaling up to 23 days. I was able to stay in many historic neighborhoods while exploring during my time there. My favorite thing I did was see the Book of Mormon and Les Miserables on broadway. No Harry Potter things on this journey.

July 2024

Amsterdam

Work Travel

I had the opportunity to spend six days in Amsterdam for a client event. During this visit, I embraced the local vibe and even took my first bike ride! As it was my third time in the city, I felt more at home and discovered some new hidden gems to share with you!

January 2025

Iceland

Upcoming Travel

This will be my boyfriend's first international trip, and we're celebrating his birthday! I've never been more excited to share such an with someone I love. We can only wish that he enjoys international travel as much as I do.

June and July 2025

Portugal

Upcoming Travel

Follow along as my friend Sydney and I live for 30 days in Lisbon exploring the local culture and top destinations in Portugal. Our plan is to work remote while away and live a local life on the outskirts of Lisbon.

July 2025

Italy

Upcoming Travel

My boyfriend will be joining us in Lisbon for our last weekend in the country. From there we will head to Italy for a full week. While we have not determined where we are going yet, stay tuned for exciting updates!
