2. Dive into the Blue Hole in Gozo

If you love diving, you shouldn't miss the chance to visit the Blue Hole in Gozo. Situated close to Dwejra Bay, this natural limestone structure provides an amazing underwater adventure, teeming with diverse marine life and breathtaking underwater views. Even if you're not into diving, the spot is ideal for boating, snorkeling, and swimming.

3. Wander through the Ancient City of Mdina, Malta

Famously referred to as the "Silent City," Mdina is a charmingly well-maintained medieval town situated in the center of Malta. With its narrow, meandering streets, historic palaces, and peaceful ambiance, it is an ideal spot for a relaxed walk. Don't miss the opportunity to explore St. Paul's Cathedral and take in the breathtaking views from the city walls.

4. Visit the Marsaxlokk Fish Market on the Weekend

Immerse yourself in the lively local atmosphere of the Marsaxlokk Fish Market, a weekly event taking place in the picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk every Sunday. Here you will witness the vibrant market filled with fishermen showcasing their daily fresh catches, while numerous stalls display an array of local products, souvenirs, and traditional Maltese items. Take a leisurely walk along the waterfront and indulge in some of the finest seafood dishes at one of the charming local eateries.

5. Discover the Megalithic Temples of Malta

Explore the ancient Megalithic Temples of Malta, some of the oldest free-standing structures in the world. Sites like Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra offer a fascinating glimpse into Malta's prehistoric past. These temples, dating back to 3600-3200 BC, are remarkably well-preserved and provide a unique opportunity to step back in time and marvel at the ingenuity of ancient civilizations.

6. Marvel at the Malta Mosta Dome

Visit the impressive Mosta Dome, also known as the Rotunda of Mosta. This Roman Catholic church boasts one of the largest unsupported domes in the world. The church is renowned for its architectural grandeur and the miraculous event during World War II when a bomb pierced the dome during mass but failed to explode, sparing the congregation. The interior is beautifully decorated, making it a must-see landmark in Malta.
